Jacksonville University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the degrees of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education, Bachelor of General Studies, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Business Administration. Programs in music, dance, and nursing also are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, the National Association of Schools of Dance, and the National League of Nursing, respectively. Education programs are approved by the Florida Department of Education for the purpose of teacher certification.
