Curry College is an independent liberal arts college located on 137 rolling wooded acres in suburban Milton, Massachusetts. The College's main campus, situated just seven miles from downtown Boston, offers both the advantages of a suburban campus and the cultural and educational attractions of New England's premier city. Curry College also extends its educational programs to a Continuing Education Satellite campus in Plymouth Massachusetts. The Curry student body of 2000 students are engaged in programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Master of Education, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Crimal Justice Degrees. Curry College offers majors in twenty disciplines and concentration programs in Biology, Business Management, Chemistry, Communication, Criminal Justice, Education, English, Environmental Studies, Graphic Design, Health Education, Nursing, Philosophy, Physics, Politics and History, Psychology, Sociology, and Visual Arts. Numerous minors, concentrations, and certificate programs are also available; as is the possibility for students to design their own individually initiated major. The College distinguishes itself with a wide diversity of opportunities in Continuing Education, championship Division III sports teams, a student newspaper (The Currier Times), Honors and Women's Studies Programs, and various clubs and organizations ranging from a Multi-Cultural Club to the Student Government Association. Curry College is internationally known for its Program for Advancement of Learning (PAL), the first college level program in the nation to help college-able students address and overcome learning disabilities.
