Molloy College
United States
University Attributes:
The Dominican Sisters of the Congregation of the Holy Cross established Molloy College in the Catholic and Dominican tradition. The Dominican Order of Preachers, founded in 1216 AD, took a single word as its motto: 'Veritas' -- Truth. Molloy takes a 'classic' approach to education, utilizing the Dominican heritage of the pursuit of truth to create a balance between traditional liberal arts and modern career and professional preparation. At Molloy, all students are taught to seek truth, to promote human dignity, and to alleviate social skills. Molloy's faculty encourage open dialogue, a questioning spirit, and a wide range of opinions. A Molloy education challenges students to achieve and maintain the highest personal and ethical standards.
