Description: Founded in 1835, Albion College is a private, four year, liberal arts college associated with the United Methodist Church. The institution has earned a national reputation for its graduates gaining admission into America's top graduate schools. Approximately 1,900 students are currently enrolled representing over 15 countries. It is committed to undergraduate research, linking students with quality internships and offers six professional institutes on campus. Of Albion College's 110 tenured or tenure-track faculty members, 95% hold the Ph.D. or appropriate professional degree in their field. Albion is proud to be rated a U.S. News and World Report, "America's Best Colleges," top 100 national liberal arts colleges (2007) and a Best 361 Colleges and Best Value Colleges by Princeton Review (2007). Students can pursue B.A. or B.F.A. degrees.

Albion College: Offering Scholarships for International Students and a World Class Education!

Highlights: In order for international students to be eligible, they must meet all undergraduate admissions requirements. This includes a minimum paper based TOEFL score of 550, a computer based TOEFL score of 213, an Internet Based TOEFL score of 79 or an IELTS test score of 6.5 or higher. Albion College also recognizes the strength and diversity of the International Baccalaureate program. Students will receive one unit (4 semester hours) of credit for higher level passes with a score of 5 or more. Scores of 4 would be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Normally, no more than 4 units (16 hours) of credit from this program will be awarded to an individual. Students must petition a department of the Petitions Committee for further information. In addition, Albion College will accept an ACT score of 21 and above or an SAT score of 970 and above. Any one of the above tests with minimum required scores will be accepted.   

Lastly, accompanying a student's application we require certified translations of your academic records and degree (if applicable), two letters of recommendation and a financial letter of support.   All of these forms, including a link to our e-brochure can be found online.
