University Attributes: The American Jewish University is one of the most dynamic institutions on the West Coast. Better known in the campus community as AJU, the undergraduate College of Arts and Sciences offers a thorough liberal arts education with a Jewish perspective. The unique balance of a mostly Jewish environment and rigorous nonsectarian academics has proven to be a highly successful combination, as evidenced by a placement rate into graduate schools that exceeds 95 percent.
