Williams Baptist College is a four-year, liberal arts college located near the northeast Arkansas town of Walnut Ridge. It's a small community, with small town values and atmosphere . However, Williams is only 30 miles from the larger city of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and is a two-hour drive from Little Rock and Memphis. Campus activities at Williams run the gamut. Complementing a comprehensive intramural athletic program, Williams fields teams in seven varsity sports. Many students also participate in musical groups and theater productions. Students can choose between over 30 clubs and organizations. Chapters of several national academic honor societies also provide Williams students with an opportunity for meaningful extracurricular activities. At the heart of all that goes on at Williams is a deep-seated Christian devotion. Williams is committed to encouraging, in mature and responsible ways, the spiritual enrichment of its student body. Weekly chapel, Bible courses, mission groups, and service organizations are all part of the spiritual life of the Williams campus.
